A friend of mine told me they were making Pumpkin Custard Ice Cream at J.P. Licks in Jamaica Plain.
I wrote in and told them that I’d do a blog post if they made me a gallon.
They said yes.

I love JP Licks. They really do have some of the best, most inventive ice cream flavors. I loved their Sam Adams Boston Lager ice cream. My favorite by far was their Coffee Oreo ice cream. It was amazing.

Damn! I’m dying to taste it. Now I’ve got to pile the kids into the Vega and drive all the way to Boston for some. Do they have any left?
I don’t know if they even sold any of it in the store. They already had two pumpkin flavors and told me they would probably not be adding it THIS year… Maybe next year, though.
