Smell is a huge part of the experience of eating, and I always knew this, but it’s so important when I go into these places that I can offer my full attention. When I’m not able to smell, I feel like I’m shortchanging the places a bit.
Regardless, I loved the french toast. I liked the burrito, and when I put some hot sauce on it, I liked it even more. Go figure.
What garnered most of our praise for this visit was the Fresh-Squeezed Watermelon/Orange Juice. I guess that’s a misnomer, they didn’t exactly squeeze the watermelon; they might have pressed it, or crushed it, but you can’t really squeeze it. Either way, we loved the stuff. You wouldn’t necessarily think it would be a fantastic combination, but it was money. I can’t tell you exactly why, it just works.
When Sheena found out I was going to stay and use the wi-fi, she had to wow me with her Macchiato (pic) skills. Obviously, it was beautiful, just like everything else about our visit.
